Squidoography

Welcome to my new blog! First, allow me to introduce myself. My name is Andrew, and I'm a big time geek. That's right - I like fantasy books, I like MMORPG games, heck, I even watch anime. (If that doesn't make one a geek, I don't know what does). I have also been trying to make some money online - without too much luck, I admit - until I discovered Squidoo. Oh no, that doesn't mean that I make millions or fully support myself just with my online income (although I intend to some day). This also doesn't mean I'm going to push some idiotic 'Become Rich In Seven Days Because This Amazing Guru Tells You So System' on you.

I haven't mentioned this before, but I also like writing (be it fanfiction, articles or something else). I still have trouble writing in English as it isn't my first language, but I try to improve my skills. Anyway, the point is, Squidoo lets me make money just by writing about things I like! I find this idea is simply amazing. I have created several lenses (small single web pages) on the topics like MMORPG games or anime, and they are bringing in steady - even if small - monthly income. Encouraged by that, I created more lenses, and was happy to see that my income grew accordingly. Of course, it isn't only about the number of lenses you create, but the quality too (and some SEO mixed in). Up to date, I have received three payments: $15 on February, $33 on March, and $52 on April - at which point I thought it might be a good idea to start a blog where I could write about my progress.

Thus Squidoography was born: a blog about Squidoo and all things related. Here I'll be writing about the lenses I create, (as well as interesting and original ones I find), sharing tips and tricks I pick up along the way, blogging about Squidoo news (like any interesting stuff the HQ adds to the site), and of course, posting my monthly payouts. What can I say, I just love bragging (even if there's not much to brag about yet)!
