Lens review - bandwidth management

I think it's time to write about one of my less successful lenses. I can only speak for myself of course, but I think most lensmasters have a lens or two like this. I'll try to provide an insight into why this lens isn't very successful.

The lens I'm reviewing today is closely connected to the WRT54GL firmware lens that I reviewed two weeks ago. While in that lens I write about different firmware for routers that helps you manage your internet traffic, here I write about bandwidth management in general: what is it, why would you want it, and what router to buy if you want a cheap and effective bandwidth shaping solution for your home network.

While it was getting some search engine traffic at first, it later slowed down to a trickle, and now Google ignores this lens altogether, giving priority to lenses like cookie-cutter "Home Internet Based Business" priority when searching for the keywords in the title of my lens (Bandwidth Management, or Bandwidth Management for Home Networks). Seems like a classic case of "Google hate" that some of my lenses are experiencing, but at least here I can see some potential problems with the lens itself. Even though I wrote most of the content myself, it's pretty short - perhaps that's the reason that Google doesn't find it important enough to include it in the search results.
