It's time to write about yet another of my lenses. This lens will only be interesting to fellow MMORPG gamers as it is about one of the most famous paladins in the World of Warcraft MMO - the guy who "has chicken" and created the term ninja puller - why, it's no one else but Leeroy Jenkins, the coolest WoW character ever! (If you didn't understand a thing I wrote, don't worry, suffice to say it's a silly but somewhat funny internet meme that only MMORPG players will understand). Full stats of the lens below:

I need to explain some stats. First of all, even though this lens was technically created on November 2007, I only reserved the name back then since I had a good idea of what it will be about. It took me a few months to catch up and actually create this lens, I admit (hence the late Royalties).

Also I'm afraid that it's one of the many lenses that suffers from complete lack of Google attention - not one visitor from this search engine, and it is not included in the search results at all. I think you always need to be aware of the possible problems with search engines before you build an Ever lens!

Squidoo sent me the payment for April 2008 to my PayPal account a few days ago. This time it is, yet again, around $42 - very similar to the last month. It seems that I simply need to make more lenses in order to improve my monthly earnings.

As for the payment tiers this month, they were:

High LR: $7.53
Medium LR: $1.28
Low LR: $0.07

The majority of my earnings came from the ad pool, but my lenses are finally starting to make sales - enough to seriously increase my current earnings, but of course I'll only see that in two months.

As I took a short break from creating new lenses, I was really surprised to see the new lensmaster dashboard look. Wow, good job, Squidoo team! I have to say, I really like the ability to add labels to your lenses, as well as group them by earnings, traffic, comments and such. The new design looks much more modern and professional.

I don't mean to complain, but it also could use a few small improvements. First thing I noticed was that the lens stats (Summary, Traffic and Royalties) has no margin on the sides and "touches" the edge of the white content area. Also the lens traffic statistics - keywords and traffic sources - don't fit in the same level as they used to (the keywords start after the traffic sources for me). Just minor inconveniences, I'm sure these will be fixed soon.

Another thing is, I simply dislike the "Daily Digest". I was about to post on SquidU, but noticed that a new option to make you go to "My Lenses" tab by default is already in works, so it's all good.

The lens list though, now that will take some time to get used to. Each lens now takes up much more space, making the list much longer. I can't even see all of my 60 lenses on a single page now!

My favorite feature of the new dashboard? The funny messages at the top. Ever feel like the whole world is a hoax? :)
