So, I've received my September 2010 payment from Squidoo. While I didn't expect much from it, it turned out to be my biggest payout so far! How very exciting. Here's a screenshot of me becoming $281 richer:

There have been a few changes to Squidoo ads lately. First of all, Squidoo team ran a short test of Amazon ads served by market.io in the sidebar. As you probably know, Chitika ads only show to people coming from search engines, and furthermore, only for people from certain countries (US/Canada/UK and possibly a few others). Everyone else will see nothing in that sidebar spot. Market.io ads were supposed to fill the gap by showing targeted Amazon products to non-searchers and for people located in the countries unsupported by Chitika. However, Squidoo decided they weren't worth the effort. I still hope that sometime in the future alternative ads will be served in that spot when Chitika is unavailable.
The second test is a minor AdSense layout change. I think side-by-side ads look better, but of course I won't complain if this new layout increases the CTR and brings us all more profit.
