Squidoo gave us lensmasters a pleasant surprise today by sending out the earliest payments in quite a while. I don't even remember the last time the payday was on the 10th. I'm happy to share that my payment isn't too bad either (around $920), and I've already received it in my PayPal account.
The tier payouts this month aren't anything special. They're slightly higher than they were in April, but Squidoo definitely isn't breaking any records with these numbers.
Ad pool:
Tier 1: $36.05
Tier 2: $6.13
Tier 3: $0.31
In-Text Ads:
Tier 1: $10.04
Tier 2: $1.71
Tier 3: $0.09
Payday stuff aside, I've had my first locked lens today. (Hey, it had to happen sooner or later if I'm on Squidoo long enough). What bothers me is that no clear reasons are given as to why it was locked. I only received this generic message:
You're getting this note because one or more of your lenses is in violation of our Terms of Service and SquidDon't policy, as well as in violation of the Terms of Service of our advertising partners. So, I don't really know which rule I've violated. However, since the lens in question isn't particularly big, important, or even all that great, I've simply moved the content over to Zujava as Squidoo suggested.

That's the thing about Squidoo. They lock lens without giving good explanations and the funny thing? The people controlling Squidoo have different say on the topic. I have had Squidoo Staff member A coming to lock my lens on day 1, appealed it on day 2, it gets unlocked in day 14, and get locked again on day 21 and never ever replied what was the reason.
They are locking high earning lenses right before payday. Squi-FRAUD!
