Today most Squidoo lensmasters are enjoying high payouts, since most sales lenses do very well during December (as you probably know, February's payout is from our December earnings). I have very few successful sales lenses, but Amazon commissions still made up 26% of my payout. That might not seem like a lot to you sales pros, but it's a big improvement for me over my previous 18% result.
That combined with great Ad Pool payouts (perhaps removing Chitika improved CTR for Google Adsense?) resulted in yet another 4-figure payout, $1,083!
Take a look at the nice payment tier stats this month:
Ad pool:
Tier 1: $45.42
Tier 2: $7.72
Tier 3: $0.39
In-Text Ads:
Tier 1: $11.93
Tier 2: $2.03
Tier 3: $0.10
My traffic is also up, so it seems a good time to make new Squidoo lenses and enjoy the traffic.
Squidoo aside, I've joined a new revenue sharing website called Zujava (this is my referral link). I learned about it from Squidoo lensmaster and SquidU mod N376, and apparently the website itself is run by Squidoo lensmaster as well. What makes it different from HubPages, Wizzley, and so on, is the fact that Zujava uses their own ads, so you don't have to supply your AdSense ID. Similarly to Squidoo, they have their own internal ranking system for distributing the payouts.
It's still too early to talk about earnings as Zujava is in beta - however, they allow up to 10 links to your own websites (links to trusted domains like Amazon or Wikipedia do not count towards the limit), so at the very least it's a decent opportunity to promote your Squidoo lenses, blogs, or websites.
